Head of Finance / CFO (m/f/d) / Transformation & Strategy

For our client, an established and rapidly growing Swiss corporate network, we are seeking an experienced and implementation-strong leader as Chief Financial Officer as part of a succession plan.

Location: Lyss

Your main tasks

* Strategic and Operational Financial Management: Holistic control of the finance department including budgeting, forecasts, multi-year and liquidity planning.

* Leadership and Development: Professional and personnel management of the assigned teams together with your team leads as well as continuous optimisation of the organisational structure and processes.

* Accounting and Reporting: Responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR) and provision of meaningful key figures.

* Governance and Risk Management: Further development of controlling, cost accounting, internal control systems and risk management systems.

* Partner and Treasury Management: Monitoring liquidity and maintaining relationships with banks, auditors and external partners.

* Digitalisation and Systems: Active shaping of the IT and financial landscape (ERP rollouts, BI tools, process automation).

* Sparring Partner: Strategic advice to the CEO, management and board of directors on business cases, M&A projects and investments.

Your profile

* Successfully completed business studies (Master or Licentiate) with a focus on finance or controlling or a comparable higher professional qualification.

* Several years of proven leadership experience in a senior financial role (CFO, Head of Finance or Group Controller) in an industrial or trade-related environment.

* Sound practical knowledge in accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR.

* High affinity for modern ERP landscapes, data analysis and digital financial processes.

* Entrepreneurial, pragmatic personality with a strong hands-on mentality when needed.

* Fluent German and English skills, French is an advantage.
