The Department of Planning, Construction and Mobility (The DACM), composed of more than 300 employees, builds, maintains, renovates and enhances municipal infrastructures while shaping the Geneva of today and tomorrow. Guided by a vision of an open, inclusive, sustainable and accessible city for all, it brings together several services: the built heritage management, the planning, civil engineering and mobility service, the energy service and the urban planning service. The department also benefits from the support of specialised units, namely the information and communication unit, the finance, projects, administration and public construction procurement unit, the architectural heritage conservation unit, as well as the land operations unit. Relying on collaboration, transparency and dialogue with the population and its partners, the DACM implements the 2040 Municipal Master Plan and meets environmental challenges in the service of quality of life.

Project Manager "City Hall Year" Auxiliary 80% - 100%
Your mission and responsibilities
- Coordinate and/or lead the implementation of projects developed within the framework of the city hall year.
- Manage and/or coordinate the implementation of certain major interdepartmental events or manifestations, upon request.
- Prepare and coordinate specific files by providing expertise and developing content, upon request.
Your profile
- Higher education in a field related to the mission of the position.
- Certified training in project management.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing cross-functional projects.
- Proven experience in stakeholder coordination, facilitating working groups and organising events.
- Experience in deploying a strategy, master plan or transformation programme is an asset.
- Excellent understanding of Geneva’s institutions and socio-economic fabric.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive, rigorous and organised, able to work independently and as part of a team on several files simultaneously, comfortable with public relations and oral communication.
- Analytical and synthesis skills, fluent writing, effective communication, proficient with common IT tools and professional use of social networks, collaborative and project management tools.
- Perfect command of French, both spoken and written.
