Industrialisation & Methods Engineer

We are a well-established stainless steel and metal products production and distribution group, headquartered in Brügg, (BE). Our Industry division consists of several business units manufacturing high-precision flat and round wires, profiles, strips, and sheets in a wide range of alloys for very diverse and demanding end markets.

We are looking for a:

Your tasks:

• Development and industrialisation:
• Analyse customer needs in collaboration with the sales teams.
• Develop and industrialise new products.
• Define manufacturing processes and production sequences.
• Conduct or support trials on production equipment.
• Analyse results and propose necessary adaptations.
• Compile industrialisation documentation.

• Methods & Work Preparation (AVOR):
• Develop, maintain and improve production sequences.
• Standardise processes to capitalise on best practices.
• Ensure consistency and reliability of technical data in the ERP system.
• Participate in managing process changes and product lifecycle.

• Cost analysis:
• Establish cost prices for new products.
• Analyse manufacturing costs and identify improvement potentials.
• Support sales teams in preparing offers.
• Production support:
• Support initial series production.
• Participate in resolving technical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Your profile:

• University of Applied Sciences engineer or technical college technician in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, materials science or equivalent training.
• Strong interest in industrial processes and metallurgy.
• Initial experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
• Enjoy working both on-site and with technical analysis.
• Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language.
