About the job
We are a well-established stainless steel and metal products production and distribution group, headquartered in Brügg, (BE). Our Industry division consists of several business units manufacturing high-precision flat and round wires, profiles, strips, and sheets in a wide range of alloys for very diverse and demanding end markets.
We are looking for a:
Your tasks:
- Development and industrialisation:
- Analyse customer needs in collaboration with the sales teams.
- Develop and industrialise new products.
- Define manufacturing processes and production sequences.
- Conduct or support trials on production equipment.
- Analyse results and propose necessary adaptations.
- Compile industrialisation documentation.
- Methods & Work Preparation (AVOR):
- Develop, maintain and improve production sequences.
- Standardise processes to capitalise on best practices.
- Ensure consistency and reliability of technical data in the ERP system.
- Participate in managing process changes and product lifecycle.
- Cost analysis:
- Establish cost prices for new products.
- Analyse manufacturing costs and identify improvement potentials.
- Support sales teams in preparing offers.
- Production support:
- Support initial series production.
- Participate in resolving technical issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Your profile:
- University of Applied Sciences engineer or technical college technician in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, materials science or equivalent training.
- Strong interest in industrial processes and metallurgy.
- Initial experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
- Enjoy working both on-site and with technical analysis.
- Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language.
