Role:
In this responsible position, you lead the operational management of the recovery plant and ensure plant availability, safety and efficiency. You drive strategic projects forward, accompany capacity expansions and support your team to ensure smooth, economical and sustainable operations.
Responsibilities:
Operational management of the recovery plant including personnel, organisation, cost centres/budget and project implementation
Planning and implementation of revisions as well as continuous optimisation of processes and workflows
Co-design of capacity expansions and active participation in commissioning projects including definition of parameters and interfaces
Integration and commissioning of extended capacities while maintaining ongoing operations
Participation in investment planning and derivation of efficiency enhancement and optimisation measures
Promotion and target setting for employees, support in personnel development
Creation of documentation, work instructions and training materials
Qualifications:
Academic or higher technical/scientific education (e.g. chemistry, process or mechanical engineering)
Experience in management of industrial operations
Sound knowledge in (special) waste recovery, recycling, steam generation and operation of WtE/MBT plants or power plants
Experience in plant management and energy optimisation of water/steam cycles; certified heating plant operator EFZ advantageous
Proven leadership skills and experience in personnel development
Motivating, assertive and solution-oriented personality
Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
