DACH Application Engineer

For our client, a company specialised in the design and manufacture of high speciality chemical products, we are looking for a 100% DACH Application Engineer on a permanent contract.

Your tasks with your new employer

• You provide high-level technical support to clients and business partners throughout the DACH region, independently
• You assist your contacts in choosing and using the most suitable products and processes for their industrial applications
• You participate in the qualification of new products, the launch of their production, as well as the continuous improvement of existing processes
• You carry out technical trials, tests and product validations, then identify and analyse the causes of encountered issues
• You provide technical training to clients, distributors and internal staff, while representing the company at trade fairs and technical days
• You work closely with sales, marketing, R&D and quality teams to support client projects and contribute to the commercial development of the region

You offer your new employer

• You hold a technical education or a degree in chemistry, materials science, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, microtechnology or an equivalent field
• Ideally, you have some experience in technical support, application engineering or industrial process support
• You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French is an asset
• You have good knowledge of industrial cleaning processes, protective coatings, soldering fluxes, thermal management solutions or similar products such as solvents, solder pastes and dielectric fluids
• You demonstrate a practical mindset, enjoy teamwork and adopt a field- and client-oriented approach
