Head of Planning & Operations Domain

The projects, operations and data warehouse sector plays a fundamental role within the General Directorate of Taxation by facilitating the implementation of IT tools. Comprising around thirty dedicated collaborators, the team actively contributes to optimising internal processes and improving the efficiency of our service for the public.

The projects sector is involved throughout the entire lifecycle of IT solutions: from gathering and analysing business needs to testing phases, including supporting development teams. It also ensures the coordination of information system operations and the implementation of reporting tools.

By joining the projects, operations and data warehouse sector as Head of Planning and Operations Domain, you will lead and support a team by setting objectives, supervising activities and fostering the development of collaborators' skills.

You plan cross-functional activities and tax processing while ensuring their quality and compliance through rigorous controls.

You contribute to the service's strategic projects by managing the areas of application security and document management.

You participate in the continuous improvement of operational processes and the evolution of information systems.

• Ensure the operational and managerial leadership of the entity, guaranteeing the achievement of objectives and the quality of services provided.
• Plan, organise and manage the domain's activities and oversee the activities and developments under your responsibility.
• Advise and provide business and technical expertise to internal and external partners.

• Ensure compliance with quality, security and deliverable conformity requirements and promote continuous improvement of the domain's processes and practices.

• Support the sector manager.

• University degree, EPFL or equivalent training

• Proven experience in managing and organising large-scale projects and project leadership

• Demonstrated experience in team management

• Sense of responsibility, leadership and ability to unite
