In this leadership role, you take on a key position within the WWZ Group. You lead a well-established department, are responsible for our financial statements and further develop the finance organisation with a forward-looking perspective. You question the status quo, identify potential and deliberately initiate change processes. In doing so, you drive digitalisation and automation forward and ensure that new solutions have an impact in everyday work.

As part of the Finance & Services leadership team and sparring partner to our CFO, you are close to central decisions of the WWZ Group. You combine professional depth with leadership strength, foresight and a good dose of pragmatism - and enjoy making a real difference together with your team.

What you can achieve

• Responsible for financial statements: You are responsible for the individual financial statements according to Swiss law (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER (SGF) of our group companies as well as the consolidated financial statements and the financial report of the WWZ Group.
• Leadership & development: You lead a team of nine employees, promote their development and ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Further develop financial processes: You optimise processes and drive digitalisation and automation in the finance area.
• Competent advice: You advise our subsidiaries and internal stakeholders on accounting and financial reporting matters and maintain close contact with the auditors and banks.
• Compliance & taxes: You are responsible for our VAT returns and tax declarations and ensure compliance with internal controls.

What you bring

• You hold a federal diploma as an expert in accounting and controlling or a certified auditor. We are also interested in comparable qualifications.
• You have several years of professional and leadership experience in a corporate environment as well as sound knowledge in preparing individual and consolidated financial statements.
• You are very familiar with the requirements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER. Experience in a publicly listed company is an advantage.
• You lead clearly and appreciatively, communicate convincingly and combine entrepreneurial thinking with strong implementation skills.
• You have a high IT affinity, experience with SAP and enjoy digital solutions and the further development of financial processes.
