Head of the Tax Office - Tax Liability (80% to 100%)

Attached to the Finance Department, the Municipal Tax Office safeguards the fiscal interests of the City of Lausanne, notably by ensuring the proper maintenance of taxpayer registers and by handling, in collaboration with the Cantonal Tax Administration, matters of exemption, allocation, and tax remission. Following a retirement, we are seeking the future head of the Tax Office - Tax Liability.

Main Mission(s)

Ensure the reliable and efficient management of the activities of the Tax Office and its processes

Provide the office's professional expertise and support the head of litigation and taxes in handling tax matters and sensitive or complex cases

Organise and coordinate the activity of tax liability managers, ensuring priorities, deadlines, and quality of services

Profile

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent training

Federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or equivalent training

CSI and CSI IIa training required

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the tax field

Proficiency in MS Office tools
