The French-speaking Compulsory Education Service (SEnOF) is responsible for the pedagogical leadership and management of education at the various levels of compulsory schooling in the French-speaking part of the canton. It also oversees the pedagogical supervision of private schools and home schooling.

• In compliance with the guidelines set by the Compulsory Education Service and the DFAC, the head of the secondary school manages the organisation, operation and administrative and pedagogical management of their institution, staff leadership, the quality of teaching and education, as well as collaboration with the school’s partners, whom they represent
• They also pay particular attention to the quality of the climate within the institution and the well-being of the people working there. Where necessary, they resolve any difficulties that may arise
• They work closely with the Association of Secondary School Municipalities in fulfilling their tasks

• Teaching diploma for lower secondary level
• If possible, CAS in management and leadership of educational institutions or equivalent training
• Minimum 8 years of teaching experience
• Experience desired in leading educational projects
• Ability to establish quality interpersonal relationships
• Sense of responsibility and collaboration
• Proficiency in French with good knowledge of German
