Medical Assistant / Nurse / ASSC Permanent position 80 to 100%
Medical centre bringing together several doctors and specialties, seeking a versatile healthcare professional capable of handling both clinical and administrative activities. The person will play a key role in the smooth running of the centre, the quality of patient reception, and supporting the doctors.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and caring for patients.
- Assisting with medical consultations.
- Performing blood draws and samples.
- Managing and conducting routine laboratory analyses.
- Setting up and monitoring infusions according to skills.
- Preparing consultation rooms.
- Managing medical equipment and stock.
- Performing conventional radiography (highly appreciated).
- Physical and telephone reception of patients.
- Managing the schedules of several doctors.
- Planning and coordinating appointments.
- Managing patient files.
- Handling medical and administrative mail.
- Data entry and administrative follow-up in the computer system.
- Coordinating with insurance companies, laboratories, and other medical partners.
- Supporting and supervising apprentice medical assistants.
- Participating in the transmission of best practices within the centre.
Profile
- Medical assistant CFC with radiology authorisation or
- HES Bachelor in nursing or equivalent qualification or
- ASSC CFC with relevant experience in outpatient settings, hospitals, clinics
- Proven experience in a medical practice or medical centre.
- Comfortable managing patients from various specialties.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary environment appreciated.
- Proficient in blood draws.
- Proficient in routine laboratory analyses.
- Conventional radiology highly appreciated.
- Infusion management (for nursing or ASSC profiles).
- Good command of medical IT tools.
- Knowledge of Axenita is a real asset.
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
