Payroll Specialist

Our client is a leading and traditional company in the Swiss construction industry based in the Bern region. To strengthen the HR team, we are looking for a committed and precise individual for the independent management of payroll administration.

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist 80-100%

Your main tasks:

• Payroll processing: Independent, timely and accurate salary processing for several mandates in Western Switzerland.

• Data maintenance: Reliable recording of time management data, absences, allowances and expenses.

• Absence management: Routine handling of sickness and accident notifications as well as insurance billing.

• Consultation: Competent contact person for employees with questions about salary, expenses and social insurance.

• Projects: Active participation in annual financial statements, payroll projects and process optimisations.

• Education: Commercial basic training with HR further education (e.g. HR clerk, payroll or social insurance specialist).

• Expertise: Sound knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations, labour law, withholding tax and social insurance; knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage.

• Working style: Independent, analytical, structured and able to keep an overview even in hectic times.

• Personality: Reliable team player with a strong service orientation.

• Language skills: Business fluent French (level C1) as a mandatory requirement for supporting locations in Romandy (Lausanne etc.); confident German.
