ICT System Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
You keep IT systems stable, secure and efficient – and identify improvement potentials before they become problems. In this versatile role, you take responsibility for a modern IT infrastructure, optimise technical processes and ensure that employees can work efficiently at all times.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the stable operation of a diverse IT landscape with Windows systems, servers, networks and workplace devices
Administration and further development of network components, firewalls, printing solutions and communication systems
Monitoring system availability as well as performing maintenance, updates and technical optimisations
Analysing and sustainably resolving faults in 1st and 2nd level support
Processing and prioritising incidents and service requests via a structured ITSM system
Managing user accounts, groups and access rights in accordance with current security standards
Installation, configuration and lifecycle management of hardware and software
Further development of security measures, system standards and technical operating processes
Collaboration with central IT teams, external service partners and internal departments
Coordination of technical changes and ensuring complete and traceable documentation
Identification of automation and standardisation potentials, for example with PowerShell
Planning and implementation of smaller infrastructure projects from technical clarification to commissioning
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science, ICT or a comparable technical qualification
Solid knowledge of Windows environments, Windows Server, client systems and network technologies
Experience in IT infrastructure administration as well as in analysing complex faults
Understanding of network protocols, firewall concepts, user management and IT security
Ideally knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and endpoint management
Experience with ticketing systems, IT service processes and technical documentation
Interest in automation, monitoring and continuous improvement of operational processes
Analytical and structured working style as well as the ability to solve technical problems independently
Strong service orientation and the ability to explain complex matters clearly
Enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders and taking on personal responsibility
Initial experience in coordinating technical projects is an advantage
