About the job
The Grangettes Foundation in Villeneuve aims to promote the importance of protected areas located in the Grangettes region and raise awareness of living nature. It provides information on the values of protected areas, develops activities for various audiences (families, groups, etc.) and works closely with Pro Natura Vaud. It will open a new Nature Centre in Noville in spring 2027. It will benefit from a unique location at the entrance to the Grangettes nature reserve, a site of international natural importance.
To develop the activities of the Nature Centre in Noville, we are looking for the following from 1 February 2027 or by agreement:
A Manager for the Future Grangettes Nature Centre (60%)
Your tasks
- You will manage the centre in collaboration with the Foundation Board and coordinate its activities.
- You will be responsible for administration and finances, as well as maintenance of the infrastructure and building.
- You will be in charge of communication and fundraising.
- You will develop the programme of seasonal activities for the centre and be responsible for their development.
- You will plan and take responsibility for events such as courses, excursions or workshops.
- You will recruit the assistants necessary for the centre’s activities and ensure HR follow-up.
- You will maintain regular contact with local authorities, tourist offices and state services.
- You will collaborate with the manager of the Grangettes nature reserve and partner associations.
Your profile
- Training in the field of environment, events management or administration
- Experience in managing a cultural, associative or educational organisation and team management, as well as fundraising
- Strong IT and office software skills
- Good knowledge of natural environments
- Dynamic, creative, proven organisational skills
- Comfortable with social contacts
- Ability to unite a team of professionals and volunteers
- Available for flexible hours (including weekends in high season)
- Good writing skills, knowledge of German
