On behalf of an establishment active in the fields of health, social care, and alternative sciences located in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for an automation technician with initial professional training. The position focuses on the maintenance, optimisation, and monitoring of technical installations and automated equipment used in a care and patient service environment. You will work on existing systems, ensure their reliable operation, and participate in targeted improvements, adhering to strict internal procedures and quality requirements specific to the healthcare sector.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary technical teams, as well as with nursing and administrative staff, taking into account hygiene, safety, and service continuity constraints. The role requires a good understanding of technical processes, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to document your interventions in a structured and clear manner.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the operation and preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices
- Ensure the integration of medical devices into the HFR computer network
- Manage and install software related to medical devices
- Implement and apply legal regulations (MDR)
- Assist and advise medical services in the use of medical devices
- Carry out administrative tasks and documentation related to the mission
Profile
- Technical Federal VET Diploma, preferably biomedical
- Knowledge of medical devices and the hospital environment is an asset
- Advanced IT skills
- Curious, proactive, and committed personality with the ability to work in a team
- Personal willingness for self-training and strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in office tools (notably Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of CMMS; "Waveware" is considered an advantage
- Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language is desired; knowledge of English is an advantage
