To complete its teams, the Belle Saison Foundation is looking for a Site Nurse Manager for one of its medico-social establishments in the La Côte region.

Under the supervision of the Director of Care and Support and the Deputy of your division, you ensure the smooth daily running of the establishment and the quality of care and support.

Through your presence on the ground and your close leadership, you unite the teams and coordinate the different sectors of the site, in close collaboration with their managers. You ensure personalised support, respectful of residents and open to their relatives.

Main activities:

• Ensure the implementation of institutional orientations and the support concept;
• Coordinate the care, hospitality, kitchen, socio-cultural and technical sectors, and facilitate interdisciplinary exchanges;
• Supervise the care team, support colleagues and contribute to a respectful working environment;
• Oversee the organisation of care, life projects and the maintenance of electronic records;
• Monitor clinical indicators, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards;
• Develop a relationship of trust with residents and their relatives, conduct family interviews at admission and support sensitive situations;
• Collaborate with doctors and other support partners;
• Participate in the preparation of schedules;
• Contribute to recruitment, evaluations and identification of training needs, and ensure quality supervision of students, apprentices and interns;
• Ensure appropriate use of resources and proper functioning of medical equipment;
• Participate in the Foundation’s projects;
• Participative management through active presence within the team.

You have:

• A HES nursing diploma or foreign diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross;
• At least 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years of team leadership experience;
• At least intermediate management training; (e.g. CAS, federal certificate in team management)
• Experience working with an elderly population (EMS/CMS) in Switzerland;
• Proven leadership skills and ability to supervise and manage quality of interdisciplinary services;
• Good knowledge and command of IT tools and French (spoken and written);
• PLAISIR® / PLEX® / Corporate Trainer / CAS-DAS training useful for the role (PAA, geriatrics), an asset;
• Driving licence and car essential;
• Private residence within 35 minutes of one of our sites (in case of on-call duty).
