Junior Mechanical Engineer (M/F) - 6-month Full-time Assignment
About the Role
To support a dam valve modernisation project, you will be responsible for updating technical plans, from 3D modelling to preparing outsourcing documentation.
We offer you A 6-month assignment providing strong field experience within a team of passionate engineers and technicians, with flexible working hours.
Tasks
The assignment involves digitising, resizing, and preparing the automation of dam valves by combining CAD studies and on-site surveys.
- Carry out precise measurement surveys directly in the field
- Perform mechanical sizing of valves and dam equipment
- Ensure complete 3D modelling of components using Autodesk Inventor
- Consult suppliers and analyse service offers for manufacturing
- Write technical documentation and environmental impact notices
We are looking for
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Essential mastery of Autodesk Inventor software
- Excellent skills in reading plans and mechanical sizing
- Professional proficiency in French
An advantage if you have
- Good knowledge of German
- First experience or strong interest in the energy or hydroelectric sector
