Job Description
On behalf of our client, a leading international private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a Corporate Actions Specialist available immediately for a 6-month temporary assignment at 100%.
Within a specialised team, you will play a key role in processing and monitoring securities transactions related to custody assets (shares, bonds, structured products, etc.). You will work in a demanding and dynamic environment requiring rigour, autonomy, and the ability to manage significant volumes of activity.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyse and process mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions events received via SWIFT, Telekurs or any other medium
- Ensure operational follow-up of securities transactions for all asset classes (shares, bonds, structured products, etc.)
- Prepare and send Corporate Actions notifications to client relationship management teams
- Process instructions related to voluntary events and forward them to the relevant custodians
- Perform accounting entries related to Corporate Actions transactions
- Monitor files and resolve issues related to securities transactions with internal and external contacts
- Carry out securities and cash reconciliations in the context of various Corporate Actions events
- Participate in various administrative tasks related to the department’s activities
We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:
- Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in the field of Corporate Actions
- Excellent knowledge of securities transactions and their operational processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Good knowledge of the T24 Globus banking system is a significant advantage
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work under pressure and manage periods of high activity effectively
- Person who is rigorous, conscientious and quality-oriented
- Ability to work independently while fostering team spirit
- Organisational skills, responsiveness and excellent file follow-up
