HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, particularly active in the operation and maintenance of power generation plants. We bring together all the necessary skills under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering.

We operate and maintain a plant portfolio with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the hydropower capacity available in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants we operate generate about 16% of the hydropower electricity in Switzerland.

Thanks to our unique expertise, we offer our customers services with high added value, which satisfy their diverse needs as well as their high quality standards. Our range of services is aimed at electricity companies, public institutions, transport companies, and industry. We mainly operate in Switzerland but occasionally carry out assignments abroad.

Operations Specialist

Your mission :

You carry out maintenance work in various hydropower plants and participate in maintenance tasks on mechanical plant components as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Your tasks :

• Independently performing repair and maintenance work at various hydropower plants
• Executing orders in the area of plant operation (maintenance work, periodic checks and inspections according to programme and guidelines)
• Contributing to maintenance, renewal, and expansion work in the hydropower plants
• Applying the required safety, quality, and environmental regulations to ensure smooth workflow
• Ensuring on-call duty
• Carrying out cleaning and surrounding area work

Your skills :

• Federal VET diploma in a craft profession (bricklayer, carpenter, plasterer or equivalent craft training)
• 2 to 3 years of experience in an industrial company, preferably in a hydropower plant
• Independence and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work in a team and geographic mobility
• Ability to handle emergency situations
• Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language
