HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, particularly active in the operation and maintenance of power generation plants. We bring together all the necessary skills under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering.

We operate and maintain a plant portfolio with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the hydropower capacity available in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants we operate generate about 16% of the hydropower electricity in Switzerland.

Thanks to our unique expertise, we offer our customers services with high added value, which satisfy their diverse needs as well as their high quality standards. Our range of services is aimed at electricity companies, public institutions, transport companies, and industry. We mainly operate in Switzerland but occasionally carry out assignments abroad.

Assistant Cook

Contract duration: Fixed-term employment from 15.10.2026 to 30.04.2027

Your mission :
You support the kitchen team in the daily preparation of meals and help provide our employees with quality catering. With your active support, you ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Your tasks :

• Support in the preparation and cooking of cold and hot dishes
• Assistance with meal distribution
• Compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
• Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and the work area
• Receipt of goods and assistance with inventory management
• General support of the kitchen team as needed

Your skills :

• Initial experience in a kitchen or gastronomy required
• Enjoyment of teamwork
• Reliable, independent and careful working style
• Resilience and flexibility, especially during the winter season
• Good knowledge of German
• Motivation and commitment
