Experienced Accountant

We are recruiting on behalf of an accounting firm based in central Geneva for an Experienced Accountant / Mandate Manager for a permanent position. You will independently manage a client portfolio and ensure the complete follow-up of their files, covering accounting, payroll, tax, and administrative aspects. You will work in an entrepreneurial environment that favours digital tools while maintaining a close relationship with its clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a client portfolio and ensure complete accounting up to closing
• Carry out interim and annual closings and prepare financial statements
• Develop dashboards and monitor cash flow and financial transactions
• Manage banking operations, client invoices, and supplier payments
• Prepare salaries and handle administrative procedures related to personnel
• Make monthly and annual social declarations and liaise with compensation funds
• Prepare tax declarations for individuals and legal entities
• Prepare and check VAT returns and manage communications with tax authorities
• Present accounts to clients and support them in managing their files
• Ensure effective coordination with other team members and report to management

Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Swiss fiduciary as a mandate manager
• Experience in independently managing a significant client portfolio
• Excellent knowledge of accounting, taxation, and payroll management
• Proficient with common office tools, notably MS Office and SharePoint
• Knowledge of Odoo and WinEUR Salaries is a real asset
• Fluent French and good English skills; any other language is a plus
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Autonomous, proactive, rigorous, and precise person
• Good stress resistance and ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Very good interpersonal skills and genuine client orientation
• Strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility
