The Childhood and Youth Service (SEJ) is committed to the children and young people of the canton of Fribourg. It is the specialised cantonal service responsible for implementing policies in favour of childhood and youth and child protection.
The Childcare Sector (SMA) of the SEJ consists of a small motivated team working to ensure the quality of childcare services. The SMA is the competent authority for authorisation, evaluation, supervision and advice of out-of-family day care structures. In this varied and meaningful field, you will be able to apply and develop your social and professional skills.
This position is a fixed-term contract until 31.12.2027.

- Evaluate, authorise and supervise family childcare settings within the framework of the ordinance on child placement
- Provide information and advice to childcare settings
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent qualification
- Interest in child protection
- Ability to analyse complex situations and synthesise information
- Good writing skills
- Organisational skills, excellent stress resistance, ability to work in a team
- Driving licence required
- Fluent command of French (spoken/written) with knowledge of German
