In a context of significant evolution and strengthening of our Supply Chain unit, we are optimising our forecasting and supply methods to improve product availability and the overall performance of flows.
Within this framework, we are recruiting a Supply Assistant whose mission will be to support the supply planners in the operational management of flows, contributing to data reliability, order tracking, and optimisation of the performance of all product categories.
A true support for supply management, this position is at the heart of coordination between the various internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Main responsibilities / tasks:
Supply management and order placement
- Ensure the creation and monitoring of supplier orders based on needs calculated by the supply planners
- Enter orders into SAP and send them to suppliers within defined deadlines
- Contribute to the reliability of supply parameters (MOQ, lead times, safety stocks)
- Participate, in central supply, in adjusting replenishment thresholds to optimise product availability and limit overstock
Operational monitoring of orders and deliveries
- Ensure end-to-end monitoring of supplier orders (confirmation, shipment, receipt)
- Control compliance with delivery deadlines and alert in case of deviation
- Identify and anticipate risks of stockouts or overstock in connection with supply planners
Management of supplier disputes
- Handle disputes related to receipts (quantity, quality, EAN) in liaison with logistics, accounting, and master data teams
- Ensure follow-up of supplier claim files until their resolution
- Participate in identifying recurring causes and propose corrective actions
Support for management and coordination activities
- Prepare supplier reviews and internal meetings (reporting, data consolidation)
- Support stock control and cycle counting management processes
- Participate in the continuous improvement of supply tools, processes, and methods
Cross-functional Supply Chain support
- Support supply planners in activities related to supply and forecasting (updating master data, consistency checks…)
- Contribute to merchandising tasks and participate in updating product assortments (creation/deletion, modification of logistical parameters, referencing control)
- Carry out ad hoc analyses and reporting on request
Required skills (professional knowledge, technical skills and experience):
- Higher education with a specialisation in supply chain or demand planning preferred
- At least 1 year of successful experience in a similar position in a comparable environment
- Good command of Excel is necessary and knowledge of SAP would be a plus
- Comfortable with numbers
- Good interpersonal skills with internal and external company contacts
- Fluent English (written and spoken) for communication within the group and with suppliers
