About our client
For our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company with a state-of-the-art research and development center in the Lucerne region, we are seeking a dedicated professional to strengthen their supply chain operations. The company is renowned for its innovative approach to drug development and manufacturing, maintaining the highest quality standards in clinical production while fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking work environment.
Your responsibilities
- Manage supplier documentation and maintain comprehensive records within the qualification system
- Evaluate change requests from vendors and internal teams, implementing quality control measures when necessary
- Drive supplier qualification processes and coordinate audit requests for potential business partners
- Develop material specifications to facilitate qualification procedures and ensure timely product releases
- Orchestrate material release timelines to guarantee production readiness and prevent supply disruptions
- Partner with cross-functional teams including tech transfer, procurement, and manufacturing for material sourcing decisions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards required for clinical manufacturing environments
- Monitor purchase order placement to align with lead times and production schedules
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, pharmacy, life sciences, or equivalent professional experience (minimum 3 years in a relevant field)
- Background in quality operations, compliance, supply chain, or operations within the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent English proficiency in both written and spoken communication across all organizational levels
- Strong analytical capabilities and proven ability to prioritize competing demands effectively
- Collaborative mindset with demonstrated influencing skills and team-oriented approach
- Problem-solving expertise with a continuous improvement mentality and willingness to challenge existing processes
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel; SAP knowledge is beneficial
