Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Group’s ESG data collection process in close collaboration with local ESG data owners and the Group Director of Sustainability.
- Prepare and structure ESG data for Group-wide reporting, including the annual sustainability report, financial report, and ad-hoc requests from external stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency in line with defined accounting standards and sustainability regulations (e.g. CSRD).
- Continuously improve ESG data collection, reporting processes, and internal controls across all business units.
- Support local ESG data owners in enhancing reporting quality and streamlining data infrastructure.
- Evaluate and advise on the selection of a state-of-the-art ESG reporting software.
- Manage and support other sustainability-related reporting requirements, such as EU Taxonomy disclosures
Your expertise and ideal skill set
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Auditing, Accounting or Finance
- Background as an internal or external auditor or worked with financial accounting/controlling with approx. 3+ years of professional experience from an international company or audit firm
- Proven track record in GHG accounting in line with the GHG Protocol
- Knowhow and expertise in managing and reporting on other environmental KPIs
- An accumen for setting up and continuously improvig internal processes and controls
- A strong sense of self-responsibility and a self-starting attitude and ownership mentality.
- Dedication and commitment to meet deadlines and ability to drive progress independently
- Proficient in both German and English

- The Corporate Finance department forms part of the Group’s headquarters Octapharma AG and oversees the Group’s financial topics.
- The overall responsibility of the Corporate Finance department is to measure financial performance, to provide meaningful financial information to decision makers and lines of business, to manage financial risks of the business, ensure compliance with regulations and to report to internal and external stakeholders. We support users by providing powerful information systems and efficient financial processes and reports.
- We work in an international, environment, with daily interactions with our Group-wide partners in different departments and lines of business. Our team consists of 9 people with different professional backgrounds.
- You report into the Group Senior Director Controlling and collaborate closely with the Group Sustainability Team
