For our client, a leading international private bank, we are seeking a :
Payroll Specialist (6 months)
In this role, you will support the preparation, control and administration of the monthly payroll for all the entities in Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly payroll preparation process, including data collection, validation and follow-up of payroll-relevant changes.
- Perform payroll checks, variance reviews and reconciliation support.
- Process the monthly and yearly reports and official statistics (AVS, family allowances, taxes, maternity, accident).
- Maintain payroll-related documentation and records in line with internal control requirements.
- Assist with employee queries related to payroll matters.
- Support activities related to Swiss social security, withholding tax, family allowances and pension processes.
- Cover administrative tasks (for instance child allowances, invoicing).
Profile
- Appropriate business education or Swiss HR certification.
- At least 4 years of experience in payroll in Switzerland.
- Solid understanding of payroll processes; knowledge of social security or withholding tax.
- Strong attention to details and ability to work accurately with confidential information.
- Good analytical, organizational and follow-up skills.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Client-focused mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Fluency in French and good English skills are required.
