The Head of Digital Strategy & AI will lead BRS’s global digital transformation by integrating data intelligence, artificial intelligence, and digital product innovation into the firm’s broking, research, and advisory operations. This role combines leadership of Digital Strategy, Data Intelligence, and AI Innovation, building a modern data ecosystem that enhances decision-making, market insight, and client engagement. Working at the intersection of technology, analytics, and maritime markets, the role will deliver scalable digital platforms and AI-enabled tools that improve broker productivity, strengthen research capabilities, and create differentiated client value.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Group’s digital and AI strategy aligned with business priorities
- Build and lead a scalable data and analytics capability to support commercial decision-making
- Develop and deploy digital tools that enhance broker productivity and market insight
- Identify and implement high-impact AI use cases across analytics, research, and workflows
- Drive the modernization of data platforms and digital infrastructure
- Translate data into actionable insights and client-facing solutions
- Embed digital capabilities across the organization and drive adoption
- Act as a bridge between business, data, and technology teams to deliver measurable impact
- Promote a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Profile
- 8-10+ years in digital, data, product development roles
- 5+ years in management/leadership roles
- Proven track record of delivering digital transformation programs
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to guide and challenge development teams effectively
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams across multiple locations
- Demonstrated capability to lead in an international and distributed organizational setup
- Comfortable interacting with and reporting to senior leadership and top management
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with impact to executive stakeholders
- International background with strong cross-cultural awareness
- Culturally open-minded, adaptable, and effective in diverse working environments
- Pragmatic, results-oriented mindset with strong execution capabilities
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Fluency in English, with good command of French and Chinese; additional languages considered an asset
