The Management Office department at EHL plays a pivotal role in aligning institutional strategy with operational execution. It oversees cross-functional coordination, ensuring that administrative processes, governance, and strategic initiatives are effectively implemented across departments. The mission of the Cloud Solutions Architect , you will play a key role in accelerating EHL’s cloud transformation as a member of the Tech Foundation team by designing and executing a strategic cloud roadmap. Your expertise will directly support the delivery of digital initiatives that enhance EHL’s education and hospitality ecosystem, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready infrastructure.
What will you do?
- Design cloud-native solutions: Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, aligned with business objectives and application requirements.
- Lead cloud migration strategies for legacy applications, emphasizing refactoring or re-platforming to leverage cloud-native capabilities (e.g., containers, serverless, managed services).
- Define, implement, and enforce security best practices across cloud environments, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a technical bridge between Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Development, and Project Management teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation to support collaboration and ensure continuity across team members and projects.
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
Who you are?
- You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- You are certified as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
- You have VMWare certifications (a strong asset).
- You have certifications on other cloud platforms (a plus).
- You have deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Microsoft 365, and the Power Platform.
- You have strong command of Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
- You have solid knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security best practices, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- You have experience in designing high-availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and fault-tolerant architectures.
- You have experience migrating on-premise infrastructure environments built on VMWare.
- You have knowledge of containerization (a strong asset).
- You have strong DevOps knowledge.
- You have the ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- You have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You are fluent in French and in English (C1).
