About the job

What you will be doing here exactly:

• Ensuring and adhering to processes, work instructions, directives and legal deadlines
• Creating and sending reminders, contract terminations and invoices
• Clarifying reasons for default, making payment agreements and monitoring incoming payments
• Independently initiating civil and criminal measures (debt collection, bankruptcy petitions, repossession requests, criminal complaints)
• Creating acknowledgements of debt
• Correspondence and communication with customers in arrears, authorities, courts, garages, insurance companies as well as various internal departments
• Drafting orders for vehicle repossession and subsequent sales orders
• General administrative tasks and daily mail processing
• Research related to location, whereabouts of the vehicle, insurance coverage and solvency of debtors
• Writing off claims and closing completed files
• Covering for team members during absences
• Additional tasks as assigned by the Team Manager and Supervisors (e.g. assisting other teams)
• Opportunity to participate in projects (as assigned and in consultation with the supervisor)

This is how you get along well with us:

• a completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent further training
• practical experience in debt collection or debt enforcement
• knowledge in leasing and Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) is an advantage
• excellent German and Italian skills, any other national language and/or English is an advantage
• very good MS Office skills
• enjoy working with various software programmes
• efficient and reliable working style
