What you can achieve
- Professional responsibility for finances in the Office for Health and Social Affairs as well as advising the office and executive management on financial and project-related issues
- Planning and control of budget, financial plan, annual accounts, accountability report and reporting as well as ensuring credit control
- Development of key figures, tariffs and decision-making bases in the social sector (e.g. disability area) as well as support of departments in all financial matters
- Handling business management and financing-related issues in the areas of health and social affairs
- Optimisation and further development of standard processes, management of digitalisation and coordination with the Office for IT
- Project controlling as well as methodological support and coaching of project managers; leadership and participation in projects and steering committees
- Participation in offer developments, contract negotiations and service financing as well as in legislative processes and other cross-sectional tasks
What distinguishes you
- University of applied sciences degree with a focus on business administration, finance or controlling; alternatively business informatics with business or financial training (e.g. CAS Business Administration) or an equivalent higher professional qualification in finance/accounting/controlling
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as controlling
- Proven experience in project and process management, preferably in larger projects, as well as a strong affinity for digitalisation and IT
- Good knowledge of public administration, ideally in the health or social sector
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills, strong numerical understanding as well as a structured and independent working style
- Consulting, communication and negotiation skills in dealing with various internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in contract management and contract negotiations as well as the ability to convey complex financial contexts appropriately to the audience
- Very good MS Office and German language skills, both spoken and written
