Customer Service Clerk (m/f/d)

For our dynamic customer service team, we are seeking support from January 2027 for 7 to 9 months (fixed-term position). In this role, you will be part of a 7-member team and ensure smooth processing of customer concerns for the Swiss sales company of GF Piping Systems AG in Schaffhausen. Together with the team, you will optimise workflows and processes to ensure high customer satisfaction. With your service-oriented approach, you will be responsible for competent, efficient, and timely order processing in German and French.

Your tasks

• Handling customer enquiries and orders including deadline monitoring and invoicing
• Providing administrative information by phone and email to customers in German and French
• Monitoring delivery dates and coordinating with other departments
• Processing returns, delivery complaints, and credit notes
• Contacts with internal and external interfaces, such as field staff, sales managers, distribution centres, and logistics companies

Your profile

• Completed commercial or equivalent training, preferably in an industrial environment
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable environment
• Customer orientation and enjoyment of direct customer contact
• Good knowledge of MS Office is essential; knowledge of SAP SD and SAP MM is desirable
• Fluent German and French skills, any additional language is an advantage
