A modern IT infrastructure must function reliably, yet be flexible enough to keep pace with the demands of a growing company. In this versatile role, you can expect a combination of classic infrastructure engineering, automation, and exciting modernisation topics.
You will take responsibility for the operation and further development of central IT services and work closely with various departments and IT specialists. In addition to technical implementation, you will have the freedom to optimise existing processes and sustainably integrate new solutions into the environment.
Responsibilities:
Planning, building, and further developing server, network, and infrastructure services
Administration and optimisation of Windows and Linux systems as well as the associated platforms
Development of automations and scripts to make operational and administrative processes more efficient
Supporting 2nd-level support with more complex technical issues and acting as an interface to the service desk
Participation in infrastructure and digitalisation projects, especially in the areas of identity, access management, and modern authentication
Maintaining technical documentation as well as supporting audits and quality assurance
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or a comparable technical qualification
Further education at HF/FH level or corresponding certifications in the IT field are advantageous
Professional experience in operating and further developing IT infrastructures
Good knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, IT services, and security-relevant components
Interest in automation, identity & access management, and modern IT technologies
Independent, analytical, and structured working style as well as good German language skills are essential
