As a Finance & Accounting Specialist, you contribute to ensuring stable and audit-proof financial processes and competently support our international companies.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Federal diploma in finance and accounting or comparable relevant university degree / further education
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting (preferably in a corporate environment)
• Solid expertise in monthly and annual financial statements as well as in international VAT returns including Intrastat and EC Sales List reports
• High IT affinity, especially very good Excel skills and experience with ERP-based accounting systems (SAP, Abacus, or similar)
• Very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2), French is an advantage
• Analytical, structured, and quality-conscious working style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with international interfaces
• Willingness to travel to support local back offices

About the Job

In this versatile role, you ensure a stable, correct, and transparent financial operation for the assigned international companies. You manage the general and subsidiary ledgers, prepare monthly and annual financial statements, and ensure clean reconciliations, accruals, and provisions. Furthermore, you are responsible for intercompany reconciliations and support group reporting. Another focus is on the preparation and timely submission of local reports such as VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales Lists, and other country-specific requirements. You maintain and process pricing master data, ensure audit-proof documentation, and carefully prepare and professionally accompany audits.

In addition, you actively contribute to the further development of our financial processes. You identify optimisation and automation potentials and advance these together with your team. Additionally, you provide professional support to finance colleagues outside the location, answer queries, and ensure that new requirements and process standards are correctly implemented in day-to-day business.
