Your duties
As a detention officer - kitchen workshop supervisor, you manage a professional kitchen and actively participate in meal production, adhering to quality standards, hygiene, and safety regulations. Your responsibilities also include supplies, stock management, supplier monitoring, and budget compliance.
On a daily basis, you provide and supplement training for detainees assigned to the kitchen workshop, support them in acquiring professional skills, and assess them throughout this process. This support is provided in compliance with current regulations and safety measures to promote their responsibility, social development, and reintegration.
Responsible for organising work in the workshop, task allocation, and monitoring services, you also manage the time records of employed persons for remuneration purposes. Finally, you carry out all your duties through networking with various internal and external partners.
Depending on the entity's needs, working hours may be irregular (night and weekend shifts), and you may be required to work in the cell sector.
Your profile
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a cook or an equivalent qualification, you are at least 25 years old and have experience in the catering sector. With a good team spirit, empathy, and professional detachment, you demonstrate openness, listening skills, and discernment, including during conflicts. Your natural authority enables you to enforce rules while serving as a role model.
You have a good command of the French language and common IT tools. Knowledge of foreign languages and excellent physical fitness are assets (physical tests and a medical examination may be required during recruitment).
Prerequisites: residence in Switzerland; category B driving licence; clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract.
