The Plein Soleil Department of the Institution of Lavigny, located in Lausanne, is dedicated to people with progressive neurological diseases or brain injuries, and includes a 70-bed nursing home, a 10-place CAT, 12 protected housing units, and an outpatient therapy centre. It is a unique living and care environment in the Canton of Vaud, offering personalised support with care services and therapies, educational and socio-cultural activities, personal development and wellbeing workshops, spiritual support, and a service dedicated to the relatives of the residents.

We are looking, for our socio-cultural sector – workshop team, for a:
IT Workshop Facilitator at 80%
You will be specifically responsible for:
- Supporting residents within the IT workshop by offering activities adapted to their abilities, desires, and projects.
- Actively participating in the development and modernisation of the IT workshop by creating new activities and materials.
- Designing and leading projects related to digital technology, IT, graphic design, office software, photography, video, multimedia, or social networks.
- Developing individual or group projects that promote autonomy, creativity, social participation, and the enhancement of each person’s skills.
- Being proactive and contributing to giving the workshop a current, creative, and innovative dynamic.
- Adapting tools, software, peripherals, and workstations to the needs and abilities of the residents.
- Exploring new digital tools and uses that could enrich the activities offered.
- Collaborating with socio-educational, care, and therapeutic teams to integrate workshop activities into the residents’ individualised projects.
Your profile:
- You ideally hold a qualification as a socio-professional master ES, IT specialist, media technician, or have relevant experience in support and/or the digital field.
- You are comfortable with IT and various digital tools and wish to use your skills to support residents.
- You are motivated, creative, curious, and ready to invest in the development and modernisation of the workshop.
- You place particular importance on the quality of support and know how to adapt your proposals to the abilities, needs, and pace of each resident.
- You have a genuine interest in supporting people with neurological diseases or brain injuries.
- You are interested in new technologies and the possibilities they can offer to people with physical or cognitive limitations.
