Network Administrator / Technician
As part of a temporary reinforcement, we are looking for a Network-Telecom Administrator / Technician (N2) at 100% for our client in Lausanne.
The start date is scheduled for 19 October 2026 for an initial period of 3 months (until 31 January 2027), potentially renewable.
Role:
- Serve as the operational entry point for all network incidents and requests passed on by N1 support.
- Analyse, qualify, prioritise and resolve the multi-domain ticket backlog.
- Ensure a smooth and cross-functional interface between the Helpdesk, end users and N3 network engineers.
- Work daily on Cisco switching and routing equipment.
- Administer DDI services at DNS, DHCP and IPAM level via EfficientIP.
- Manage network access and compliance control through the Cisco ISE NAC solution.
- Take charge of operational maintenance and troubleshooting of Aruba Wi-Fi coverage.
- Perform first and second level support actions on Fortinet firewalls.
- Write clear technical procedures and feed the knowledge base to document resolutions.
Profile sought:
- Higher education in IT or networks (CFC, Federal Diploma, ES diploma or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience of at least 4 years in a similar position as a network operations administrator or N2 network technician.
- Strong skills base in Cisco network environments (LAN/WAN).
- Mastery or practical experience of Cisco ISE, EfficientIP, Aruba Wi-Fi and Fortinet solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and regular use of ITSM tools such as EasyVista or Jira.
- Analytical mind, autonomy and rigour to prioritise a high volume of requests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, service orientation and perfect command of French both spoken and written.
