The real estate assets and infrastructure are the responsibility of the construction service within the Development and Construction Domain (VPO-DC). It ensures the maintenance of the usage value through construction and transformation projects to meet the specific needs of the EPFL community members.
- Assistance to the head of service in managing major real estate and infrastructure works
- Study of projects and preparation of supporting and administrative documents
- Presentation of files, and implementation of decisions made by decision-making bodies
- Coordination of external stakeholders, monitoring and management of planning phases
- Establishment and monitoring of tenders according to current procedures
- Implementation of subcontracting contracts, and coordination of their application
- Monitoring of planning (deadlines, financing, execution), and proposal of corrective measures
- Continuous optimisation and simplification of implemented procedures
- EPF architect training, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in project management
- Good knowledge of construction law
- Interest in rigorous technical and economic management of files
- Ability to anticipate, analyse and quickly resolve management procedures
- Enjoyment of teamwork, dynamism, versatility, initiative and skills in communication and multidisciplinary coordination
- Flexibility and an open personality to change
- Good knowledge of project management IT tools
- Strong writing skills
- Proficiency in English (B2 level), knowledge of German is an asset
