What you can contribute
- translate into Italian a wide range of complex texts, generally written in German and French and occasionally in English: scientific and legal documents, websites, press releases, campaigns, correspondence, software localisation, etc.
- revise texts translated internally and externally and ensure their quality, perform proofs, work in co-authoring
- undertake terminological work (e.g. in STAR TermStar)
- provide specialised advice (grammar, socio-linguistic issues, cultural transfer, etc.)
- carry out specific tasks: subtitle translation, transcreation, adaptation into easy-to-understand language
- collaborate in managing assignments and the progress of translation projects: clarifying assignments, preparing files, managing CAT tools, collaborating with clients and external translators
What makes you unique
- master’s degree in specialised translation or interpreting or equivalent training with professional experience
- high performance, quick-wittedness, ability to work independently and precisely, stress management, strong organisational and planning skills; structured and client-oriented work
- strong team spirit, ability to learn, initiative, flexibility, transparency, open-mindedness and systemic approach
- knowledge of domain-specific tools: assignment management systems, CAT tools, artificial intelligence, terminology management software, etc.
- basic knowledge of the Swiss political and healthcare systems
- active knowledge of two official languages and, if possible, passive knowledge of the third, and very good knowledge of English

You are a native Italian speaker qualified to translate complex texts?
