Educator in UAPE at 80%
Crissier is growing. Fast. And its out-of-school care is growing with it: new structures, new projects, new teams. Concretely, this means we are not just looking for someone to maintain the existing setup, but someone to build what is coming.
If you have a vision of what quality out-of-school care should be — and the desire to implement it rather than just debate it — the following should interest you.
Your main tasks
You ensure the care and educational supervision of children aged between 4 and 12 years in an Out-of-School Care Unit with 168 places, divided into 4 distinct groups. This care is attached to the youth and social services of the municipality.
On a daily basis, you welcome and support the schooled children — in the morning, at midday and in the afternoon — in an environment that is both caring and structured. You design and lead meaningful activities, from free play to creative projects, including outings and quiet times. A reliable point of reference for the children, you are also a trusted contact for families.
You work in a multidisciplinary team and in close connection with network partners: school, municipal services, associations. Finally, you actively contribute to the evolution of our practices, as your critical perspective and proposals are expected, not merely tolerated.
Your profile
- Diploma as a childhood educator ES, HES in social work, or an equivalent qualification
- Some initial experience in childcare is an asset — a real potential as well
- Energy, initiative, and the interpersonal skills that go with it, both with a group of children and within a team
- A taste for teamwork and the ability to self-reflect
- The desire to develop and take on responsibilities in the medium term
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written
We offer you
- A varied and interesting job within a dynamic and committed institution, as well as prospects for professional development
- Comprehensive infrastructure, efficient educational materials and opportunities for continuing education
- A starting date to be agreed according to your availability, ideally from November 2026
