Management Controller (M/F) – Permanent Position
Your mission:
On behalf of one of our clients based in Geneva, we are seeking a Management Controller (M/F) for a permanent position.
Integrated into the Finance function, you will actively participate in managing the financial performance of an international group and its various entities. You will be involved particularly in budget processes, financial forecasting, as well as performance analysis and monitoring.
Your main responsibilities:
Manage the budget processes, quarterly forecasts and CAPEX and coordinate the various stages
Analyse and challenge the financial data and forecasts provided by the different entities
Prepare consolidated summaries and financial materials for management
Ensure monthly monitoring of financial and operational performance
Analyse variances between forecasts, budgets and actual results
Identify key performance drivers and propose improvement actions
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses according to organisational needs
Make relevant recommendations based on the analyses carried out
Act as Finance Business Partner with financial contacts in the various entities
Participate in harmonising practices and ensure compliance with financial reporting processes and standards
Your profile:
Higher education in economics, finance or accounting, or equivalent federal qualification in finance and controlling
Minimum 5 years’ experience in management control, ideally gained within an international group or a large organisation
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX, variance analysis and financial reporting
Very good knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting standards
Excellent command of financial ERP tools, notably SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and pivot tables
Ability to produce, interpret and present in-depth financial analyses
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
Excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills
Ease in interacting with various stakeholders and ability to adopt a Business Partner role
Autonomy, rigour, organisation and ability to be proactive
Team spirit and client orientation
Experience in an international industrial environment or the luxury sector is an asset
