Committed to quality public service, the City of La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a:
Garage Worker
Your mission / You will be responsible for the maintenance of heavy and light vehicles and prepare vehicles for service. The position involves sustained physical handling work, including lifting and moving heavy loads. You will participate in snow clearance services during the winter period, which involves being on call, and you must live near La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Your profile / Personal skills / You have knowledge of mechanical work. A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a maintenance mechanic or a Federal VET Certificate (AFP) as a maintenance assistant and/or a heavy goods vehicle licence are advantages. You are available, versatile, accustomed to heavy work, able to work independently and take initiative.
Desired start date / A varied activity in public service within a pleasant and dynamic working environment, as well as remuneration according to current regulations.
