In this joint position between the Center for Imaging and CIME, you will serve the EM community for exploiting measurements made on the electron microscopy platform. You will identify bottlenecks for data analysis in electron microscopy and create robust image and data analysis pipelines for typical CIME workloads
- Support EPFL researchers for electron microscopy data analysis
- Analyse the needs for data processing workflows of the EPFL's EM community
- Implement (possibly ML/AI-driven) data analysis pipelines within EM imaging
- Contribute to the research and development of new data analysis techniques and workflows in EM
- Acting as a bridge between the CIME and the Center of Imaging.
- Master or PhD in Science (Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Computer Science).
- Expertise in the following fields/techniques :
- Large scale data analysis
- Development of data processing techniques/workflows
- Quantitative Imaging
- Experience in machine learning, AI etc.
