Entrepreneurial leadership role with technical responsibility in civil and road construction

For an established and successfully growing engineering service provider in the field of civil and road construction, we are looking for a strong leader with entrepreneurial thinking and solid professional expertise.

In this responsible key position, you will take over the management of the Kreuzlingen location and actively shape its professional, personnel and strategic development.

Head of Location Kreuzlingen Civil and Road Construction

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the operational management and strategic development of the Kreuzlingen location
• Management and handling of demanding projects in cantonal and municipal civil and road construction – from concept development through planning to realisation and acceptance
• Responsibility for personnel management, finances, quality assurance and organisational development
• Maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as acquisition of new projects
• Further development of the market position through the expansion of a sustainable network
• Promotion and development of employees as well as ensuring a motivating and appreciative leadership culture

Your profile

• Completed studies as a civil engineer FH/ETH or training as a technician HF
• Ideally a business management further education or a corresponding postgraduate degree
• Several years of professional experience as a project manager in cantonal and municipal civil and road construction
• Experience in acquisition, tendering and dealing with public clients
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as pronounced cost and quality awareness
• Leadership experience as well as an appreciative, motivating and clear communication style
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
