We are looking for one of our clients in the watchmaking sector, based in Geneva:
A Precision Mechanic specialised in stamping watch casing products, to fill a position as Press Setter
Job Description
- Series changes, assembly and adjustment of tooling, fine-tuning, and production start-up of the presses
- Inspection of parts throughout the cutting operations in production.
- Carry out inspections with traditional workshop measuring tools, and 3D inspection depending on the parts.
- First-level maintenance.
- Shift work in a 3x8 team
Profile Sought
- Training such as Federal VET Diploma in Polymechanics or Federal VET Diploma in Micromechanics, Professional Baccalaureate or BTS in Production Engineering, training in cold forging is a plus
- Knowledge of maintenance and assembly of forging and cutting tools is important for this position.
- Excellent skills in reading technical drawings.
- Good mechanical logic to find quick and effective solutions.
- Comfortable with IT tools for production tracking.
- Team spirit and cohesion.
