Internal Audit is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity, guided by the desire to create added value in order to improve Skyguide's operations.
As a key player in our governance system, you will contribute to designing and strengthening an effective environment of governance, risk management and control within the organisation. In close collaboration with the Finance & Audit Committee and the Board of Directors, you will play an essential role in the current transformation of the company as well as in promoting sustainable corporate governance.
- Develop and implement the annual risk-based audit plan, and present it to the Executive Management as well as the Finance & Audit Committee
- Provide strategic and managerial leadership of the Corporate Audit team, ensuring the maintenance of strong skills and continuous professional development of its members
- Assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes across all business areas, providing relevant analyses and identifying opportunities to strengthen the organisation's performance and resilience
- Ensure strong coordination of Internal Audit activities with other control functions, notably Risk Management, Controlling, External Audit as well as Legal & Compliance
- Act as the main contact for audits conducted by supervisory authorities and coordinate cross-border audit activities within the IntACT audit network (FABEC)
- Lead and conduct internal audits in accordance with IPPF standards, including preparing clear and action-oriented reports for Executive Management and the Board of Directors
- Maintain an effective and high-quality audit function by developing expertise, methodological excellence and a culture of continuous improvement
- Continuously evolve our audit methodologies by leveraging modern approaches to ensure a forward-looking, high-impact and value-adding function
- University degree; CIA or CPA certification is required. Experience in the aviation sector is an asset
- Experience in Internal Audit, complemented by project management skills, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills
- Proven experience of effective collaboration with Executive Management and Board-level contacts, with the ability to value diverse viewpoints and foster inclusive dialogue
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and convincingly to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong assertiveness and ability to unite and convince stakeholders around common goals "– even in demanding situations "– while demonstrating respect and fairness
- Results-oriented and confident personality, combined with a collaborative and partnership-based working style, contributing to an open and fair team culture
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach, as well as the ability to consider diverse perspectives in decision-making
- Excellent command of French or German, as well as strong English skills, enabling effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders
