Accounting & Consolidation Manager - ASAP FR/EN
Our client is a rapidly growing service company based in Geneva, with activities and partners internationally.
As part of its development and the structuring of its finance function, we are looking for a Senior Accountant capable of independently managing all accounting and financial activities of the Swiss company while participating in the consolidation of international entities.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to Management, you hold a central role within the organisation.
Your main responsibilities include:
Accounting and Finance
- Full management of the general accounting of the Swiss company.
- Management of customer and supplier accounts.
- Execution and monitoring of payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Monthly and annual closings.
- VAT declarations.
- Participation in tax declarations.
- Preparation of financial statements.
Consolidation and Reporting
- Consolidation of the group's various entities.
- Preparation of financial reports for Management.
- Monitoring budgets and cash flow.
- Coordination with external accounting partners located internationally.
Personnel Administration
- Payroll management.
- Monitoring social insurances.
- Routine HR administration.
- Support for international employees.
Candidate Profile
- Higher education in accounting, finance or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Swiss accounting from A to Z.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP standards.
- Good mastery of consolidation mechanisms and IFRS standards.
- Knowledge of the American accounting environment is an asset.
- Fluent French, minimum C1 level.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written, minimum C1 level.
- Ability to produce financial reports in English.
- High autonomy and sense of responsibility.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
