About the job
In close collaboration with the head of the accounting department, whom you assist in daily tasks, you contribute to the proper accounting management of the Association and ensure continuity of activities in their absence.
Accounting Assistant at 40%
Your main responsibilities
- Participate in maintaining the general ledger and closing operations.
- Monitor debtors and creditors.
- Check, validate, and process invoices according to internal procedures.
- Make payments and ensure their follow-up.
- Manage cash registers as well as bank and postal accounts.
- Prepare invoicing for the Association's various sectors and third parties.
- Participate in preparing VAT returns in accordance with legal provisions.
- Prepare and monitor financial flows based on internal reports.
- Work closely with the head of the accounting department and act as their deputy during absences.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and accounting processes.
Your profile
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent training.
- Additional training in accounting (assistant accountant, accounting certificate, or equivalent), an advantage.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of MCH2 accounting standards and the public sector, a plus.
- Very good command of common IT tools (knowledge of Crésus software, an advantage).
- Excellent command of French, both written and spoken.
