About the job
TENZ is a Swiss food & drinks company with Tibetan roots. What began as a donation project is now a growing family business with over 200 employees. With our own production, gastronomy operations, festivals & events, delivery as well as a growing B2B and retail business, we combine a strong brand with diverse sales channels and business models.
For our next development phase, we are consolidating the commercial organisation under a single leadership. As Chief Commercial Officer and member of the executive board, you will take overall responsibility for F&B, B2B, delivery, and festivals & events as well as brand & marketing. You will connect commercial strategy, P&L responsibility, brand, and leadership, and consistently manage the areas from the perspective of the entire company.
You will report directly to the Founder & CEO and work closely with the CFO and other central corporate functions.
We offer
- A central entrepreneurial leadership role with direct influence on the development of TENZ
- Membership in the executive board and close collaboration with the Founder & CEO and CFO
- Responsibility for four business models as well as the commercial direction of brand & marketing
- Scope for shaping the development of an integrated, high-performing commercial organisation
- A versatile environment between food, gastronomy, retail, delivery, events, and own production
- Support for training and further education as well as regular company events and team activities
Your tasks
- Commercial & P&L Leadership: You bear the overarching economic and commercial responsibility for F&B, B2B, delivery, and festivals & events as well as brand & marketing. Together with the business heads, you manage revenue, profitability, and the economic development of the areas.
- Leadership & Organisation: You lead and develop the business heads of the individual business areas and create clear goals, responsibilities, and decision-making scopes. Operational leadership lies with the respective heads, while you ensure cross-departmental alignment, performance, and collaboration.
- Commercial Strategy & Portfolio: You translate the corporate strategy into clear commercial priorities and assess opportunities, investments, and initiatives based on strategic fit, economic potential, and available resources. Decisions beyond your competence are prepared for the CEO or executive board.
- Cross-Channel Performance: You ensure that pricing, promotions, assortments, resources, and commercial activities are managed holistically and optimise the overall economic success of TENZ rather than isolated departmental goals.
- Brand & Marketing: You ensure alignment between commercial direction and prioritisation of brand & marketing.
- Performance, Forecast & IBP: You are responsible on the sales side for a coordinated operational IBP forecast with high forecast accuracy and ensure the connection to capacity, production, inventory, and resources. Together with finance, you establish KPIs, business cases, and decision bases, recognise deviations early, and initiate effective measures.
- Executive Board: As a member of the executive board, you actively shape corporate strategy, organisation, priorities, as well as key investment and resource decisions, and prioritise the overall interests of TENZ over individual interests.
Your profile
- Several years of leadership experience in overall commercial responsibility, general management, business unit, or a comparable senior function
- Proven P&L responsibility and experience in the profitable development of multiple business areas
- Experience in leading and developing several business heads or comparable leaders
- Strong commercial thinking and confident handling of revenue, margin, EBITDA, forecasts, business cases, and investment decisions
- Experience with operational sales forecasting, IBP, and cross-departmental coordination of demand, capacity, and resources
- Ability to switch between strategic overview and operational reality, prioritise clearly, and make binding decisions
- Experience in food & beverage, system gastronomy, retail, FMCG, hospitality, B2B, or a comparable multi-channel business is an advantage
- Confident and professional communication in German and English
At TENZ, you will build an integrated commercial organisation with clear responsibility for leadership, performance, and sustainable development. If you want to take on overall entrepreneurial responsibility and shape the next phase together with our leadership team, we look forward to getting to know you.
