As Head of Network Services, you connect technology, market and customer needs. You lead a team of five employees and are responsible for network product management, third-party market business as well as network connection consulting for large customers.
In the management team of the Networks business unit, you bring in the perspective of our services, customers and markets and thus make an important contribution to the further development of our core business. At the same time, you are the central interface to the Market and Energy business unit. You strengthen cross-departmental collaboration, network technical and organisational topics and contribute to successfully implementing joint solutions across departmental boundaries.

What you can achieve

• Leadership and development: You lead a team of five employees. Together, you ensure professional, customer-oriented and efficient service delivery and continuously develop the network services.
• Customer consulting and network connection solutions: You are the central contact person for large customers, partner utilities, municipalities and network predecessors regarding network products and network services. In doing so, you develop economical and customer-specific network connection and network usage solutions, conduct contract negotiations and coordinate internal specialist departments. You represent the applicable network concepts and standards to customers and ensure a technically and economically optimal integration of customer solutions into the existing network structure.
• Network product management: You are responsible for the development of network products and connection models, taking into account regulatory requirements, customer needs and economic demands, and ensure implementation in processes, systems and customer communication.
• Network usage tariffs: You create production and consumption forecasts for the distribution network and develop customer-friendly as well as regulatory-compliant network usage tariffs.
• Network services and third-party market business: You are responsible for the service business around network installations and public lighting. You manage collaboration between customers, partners and internal specialist departments and coordinate offers and tenders. At the same time, you keep an eye on costs, revenues and profitability from the offer to operation and make an important contribution to the financial development of the network business.
• Reporting and regulatory development: You are responsible for preparing regulatory reports, statistics and reporting for authorities and partners. In doing so, you ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, identify new legal requirements early and develop our network products and services with a future-oriented approach.
• Corporate development: You actively participate in the Networks management team and in overarching corporate projects, contribute expertise and innovation impulses and support knowledge transfer within the company.

What you bring with you

• Solid technical experience in the network environment as well as experience in sales or direct customer contact
• A higher professional qualification or a comparable education or training, for example a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in developing employees
• Strong communication skills, implementation orientation and pronounced social competence
• An independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Interest in various topics and new technologies
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as the necessary assertiveness
• Confident appearance and negotiation skills with large customers, partner utilities and authorities.
