To strengthen our logistics team, we are looking for a Logistics Associate - Central Warehouse.
In this key position, you will ensure the receipt, storage, preparation and distribution of goods and equipment necessary for the smooth running of the hospital's various departments. You will directly contribute to the continuity of activities and the quality of patient care by guaranteeing the availability of items, the reliability of stocks and compliance with the requirements specific to the hospital environment.
Job Description
Receipt of goods
- Receive deliveries from suppliers.
- Check quantities and condition of received goods.
- Verify compliance with delivery notes and orders.
- Identify and report discrepancies, missing items or damaged goods.
- Record receipts in the computer system.
Storage and stock management
- Store goods in designated locations.
- Adhere to hygiene, safety and storage rules.
- Ensure proper product rotation, especially according to expiry dates.
- Carry out stock checks and cycle counts.
- Identify risks of stockouts or overstocking.
- Participate in the improvement and optimisation of storage spaces.
Preparation and distribution
- Prepare orders for the various departments.
- Check references and quantities prepared.
- Respect priorities and delivery deadlines.
- Ensure delivery and replenishment of care units and services.
- Guarantee traceability of distributed items.
- Respond to urgent requests as far as service capabilities allow.
IT management and collaboration
- Perform stock movements in the management system.
- Participate in updating item data.
- Report anomalies related to references, suppliers or packaging.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, transport and purchasing.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Qualifications
- Training or experience in logistics, warehousing or stock management.
- Experience in a hospital, medical or care environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of an ERP or stock management software is desirable.
- Good command of IT tools.
- Category B driving licence essential.
You are a reliable, organised and service-oriented person. Recognised for your rigour, autonomy and team spirit, you know how to manage several activities simultaneously while respecting procedures and requirements of a hospital environment. Flexible and versatile, you have good physical condition and enjoy contact with various internal stakeholders.
