Main Mission(s)
As project manager, manage files submitted by the Building Permit Office
Process, analyse and handle construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations concerning tree protection, biodiversity, outdoor space planning, and climate change adaptation.
Prepare and justify the opinions of the Parks and Estates Service
Ensure the monitoring of construction sites to guarantee compliance with plans and permit conditions, as well as legislation and standards regarding tree protection, natural habitats, and protected species.
Discuss and negotiate with project leaders, administratively follow up files at various stages of the procedure
Handle tree felling matters related to building permits and construction projects within the municipal territory.
Profile
Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences in a field related to nature, environment, or landscape architecture, or equivalent training or professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position of responsibility
Professional experience related to construction sites, construction projects, landscaping, or impact studies is an asset
Knowledge of urban trees and nature issues in built environments is an asset
Knowledge of nature protection legislation is an asset
Comfortable reading architectural project plans and sections
Good writing skills
Negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and sense of cooperation
Good knowledge of the Lausanne area is an asset
Analytical and synthesis skills, global vision and sense of perspective
Proficient with Office tools
